About
Professor. Speaker. Coach. Founder. A life devoted to learning, leading, and reimagining what's possible.
My journey has been shaped by a belief that growth never stops. Throughout my career, I have served as a professor, business leader, entrepreneur, and elected public official, working with students, organizations, and communities to help them navigate change and pursue meaningful goals. From the corporate arena to college classrooms and public service, I have spent decades learning about leadership, resilience, and the power of lifelong learning.
Like many people in midlife, some of my greatest lessons did not come from professional accomplishments but from personal challenges. Navigating life transitions, health struggles, chronic pain, and unexpected setbacks forced me to reevaluate priorities, embrace uncertainty, and discover new levels of resilience. Those experiences taught me that adversity is often the catalyst for growth and that reinvention is possible at any stage of life.
Today, my work focuses on helping others navigate their own next chapters. Through teaching, writing, speaking, coaching, and my platform, "Reinvaging", I explore how we can continue growing physically, mentally, emotionally, and professionally as we age. I am particularly passionate about helping people build resilience, adapt to change, embrace new technologies such as AI, and create lives filled with purpose and meaning.
I believe aging is not a process of decline but an opportunity for transformation. The experiences we gain throughout life are not limitations; they are assets that can help us build stronger futures. Whether you are facing a career transition, rebuilding after a setback, managing health challenges, or simply seeking greater fulfillment, my hope is to encourage you to keep learning, keep evolving, and keep moving forward. Because it is never too late to reinvent your next chapter.
